Accomplishing this goal requires GM to pursue the best automotive retail and management talent in the industry for future dealer ownership opportunities. Whether you are a current dealer or a senior dealer manager and are looking for your first GM opportunity, we want to hear from you.
The Community Dealer Development (CDD) team is focused on pursuing opportunities to increase GM sales and market share by supporting people who have faced barriers to participating in the automotive dealer community at large. We are also seeking candidates who are interested in operating dealerships in market areas GM has targeted for sales expansion opportunities.
We are looking for current high performing dealer operators who are seeking their first GM opportunity.
We also will consider opportunities for senior automotive dealer managers with significant automotive retail management and leadership experience. Our ideal candidate has recent experience as a general manager and can demonstrate success in all areas of dealership operations: new vehicle, used vehicle, finance, service, parts and accounting.
Experience with GM brands is not required.
GM also provides financial partnership opportunities for eligible successful dealer candidates through GM Motors Holding if you do not have the financial investment needed to purchase a dealership privately.
